NACA Report No. 1026 : ウィキペディア英語版 | NACA Report No. 1026
NACA Report No. 1026 - NACA Investigation of Fuel Performance in Piston-type Engines was issued by the United States National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics in 1951. It was a review of various databases gathered over preceding years concerning fuel consumption vs. power output in internal combustion engines. ==Summary== It is generally recognized that the piston-type engine will continue to play an important role in air transportation for an indefinite period in spite of the intensive effort now being devoted to gas-turbine powerplants. For this reason, past researches conducted in piston engines are still of interest in the solution of current problems relating to such engines. In order to simplify the task of using the data from previous investigations, an effort has been made to compile a portion of these data into a single reference source. This report is a compilation of several researches acquired by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics on fuel performance in piston engines. The original researches for this compilation are contained in many separate NACA reports.
